Order a cake here!! Okay I’m hesitant to write this because I like that they’re not overwhelmingly packed and they’re affordable but they are a best kept secret. I ordered a very affordable cake, a cheap cake (for search buzzwords) and it was fantastic! I had an engagement party, I wanted a tiny cake for pictures, every single place charges like $100 for a nice cake with writing, and none of them are that easy to deal with—I would’ve had to call like five bakeries just to see what their options were, it’s never just listed on the website. SD Bakery and Cafe had a bunch of cake and color options, I didn’t grow up with tres leches cakes so I don’t know authenticity but it was delicious! I’m not big into Mexican pan but it smelled delicious and fresh! I keep getting there too late in the day to try their food so far but I’m sure it’s great. My cake ordering process was easy, seamless, it turned out gorgeous, and it was only $30. I’m so excited I found them.

First time stopping by this bakery, it's better taste than looking from outside, LOL. The Pan Dulce are fairly tasty, just right amount of sweetness and soft consistency. Pleasantly surprised by overall quality. It's really not "attractive" from the street, LOL.

I ordered a custom birthday cake with a very specific rose design and provided clear reference photos. What I received looked nothing like what I requested. The petals, structure, the bottom of the cake when I wanted it like the photo and overall finish were completely different from the design I approved. Even the staff member at pickup admitted the cake did not resemble the reference. There was also a major lack of communication. I asked for progress photos and never received any. I was told the night shift couldn’t send pictures, yet no one from the morning shift followed up either. If the design was not possible, that should have been communicated before making the cake. On top of that, the texture of the cake was off overly moist to the point of melting instantly, not the sponge like texture a normal cake should have. When I brought up these issues, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, I was told that because I picked up the cake, I “accepted” it. I only took it because it was the day of my event and I had no other option. A small discount does not excuse delivering a completely different product. We stumbled upon this little bakery. Authentic Mexican bread. I love their preparados! Pretty affordable and delicious. Will definitely be returning.

I have tried a lot of Mexican restaurants and food trucks. This place stands out to me because of the variety and delicious flavor. I tried a lot of the available options and it was a great experience. They had a clean area to eat in and I was extremely surprised to see a clean restroom available to the customers. The prices are fair or below. Unfortunately the cafe-style drinks were not available but I will have to try them next time. Definitely a 10/10 place!
